Stacey Ivey

With a degree in Elementary and Special Education and 18 years of experience as an educator, Stacey has dedicated her career to supporting children and families. Currently, she is a kindergarten teacher, helping young learners build a strong foundation for lifelong success. Previously, she worked as a parent educator with The HOPE Initiative, where she  supported parents with developmental disabilities, teaching essential family and life skills. Additionally, Stacey served on and was actively involved with the PTA, further demonstrating her commitment to fostering growth, engagement, and advocacy within the community. 


Stacey is deeply passionate about empowering youth and families to thrive. She believe everyone has the potential for success, and building meaningful connections is key to achieving it. Serving as President of Seeing Our Adolescents Rise is an opportunity to contribute to an organization that aligns perfectly with her values and experiences.


As a former employee of SOAR and a parent of three (ages 23, 22, and 19,  Stacey brings both professional expertise and personal insight to her role on the board. Furthermore, Stacey's experience as an educator and mentor has equipped her to guide initiatives that create positive, lasting change for families and adolescents.


Outside of her professional work, she an adventurer at heart. She loves traveling, trying new foods, and staying active through sports like basketball and volleyball. Music also plays a big part in her life, and she enjoys exploring its power to connect people.
